この水星逆行アノマリー、実は前からすごく気になってて、先月日経平均は7万円をしっかり上回ってきたけれど、いつ調整入りするのかと身構えてました。
直近の2026年の2回目の水星逆行は6月30日〜7月24日（諸説あります）です。
ワールドカップ⚽🏆期間中、毎日楽しい〜！と高揚感に包まれつつ、（集中力を欠きながら）マーケットの値動きも見てましたが、気がついたら、チャートではちょうど7月1日あたりから、日経平均がじわじわ下落トレンドに入ったように見えます。
下落トレンドに入ったとかいう意識は全然なく、某社の株を天井近くで空売りしました。
でも、基本的にデイトレード方針でやっているので、少しの利益ですぐに手じまってしまいました。
ガチホしてたら今頃すごい含み益が出てたのに、あ～あって思わなくもないですけど、そんな先のことなんてわからないですし、しかたないです笑
今回の水星逆行のアノマリーは、わりと当てはまったんじゃないかと思いますが、どうでしょうか？笑
みんなが気にしているせいで、自己成就的にマーケットのボラティリティが高くなったり荒れたりとかするらしいですね。
おまけに、先週は、使っているチャートアプリが不具合を起こして、日本株のローソク足が一部消えていたり、値動きどおりの足の形になっていなかったりして、怖くてトレードできない日がありました。

水星逆行中には、通信・電子機器・アプリなどのトラブルが起きやすいとされているので、どうやら私はまともに影響受けちゃったみたいです笑
次の今年3回目の水星逆行は10月24日〜11月14日までだそうですが、この時期はちょうどアメリカの中間選挙と重なるので、またまたマーケットの値動きには要警戒のタイミングになるかも？？笑

Mercury Retrograde Anomaly?💫
I’ve actually been super curious about this Mercury retrograde anomaly for a while now. Even though the Nikkei 225 solidly broke above 70,000 yen last month, I was braced for when a correction might hit.
The second Mercury retrograde of 2026 was from June 30th to July 24th (though dates vary depending on who you ask).
During the World Cup⚽🏆, I was riding high on excitement every day—having a blast while (loosely) keeping an eye on the market. Looking back at the chart, it actually seems like the Nikkei entered a gradual downtrend right around July 1st.
Without really being conscious that a downtrend was starting, I shorted a certain stock near its peak. But since I mostly stick to day trading, I closed out my position quickly with just a modest profit. Part of me thinks, "Ah, if only I had held on, I'd be sitting on huge unrealized gains right now!" But hey, no one can predict the future, so it is what it is. 😊
This time, the Mercury retrograde anomaly seemed pretty spot on, don't you think? 😉 They say that because everyone is aware of it, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, driving up volatility and making the market erratic.
On top of that, last week my charting app glitched out. Some of the individual candlesticks for Japanese stocks were missing, and others weren't matching the actual price action, so there were days I was too spooked to trade!
(I reached out to support and they fixed it, so the charts are displaying normally now.)
Supposedly, Mercury retrograde brings trouble with communications, electronics, and apps, so it seems I took a direct hit from that. 😅
The third Mercury retrograde of the year is said to be from October 24th to November 14th. That overlaps right with the US midterm elections, so the market might be in for another bumpy ride we'll need to watch out for! 😄
