8月28日の己巳の日に、トレードはお休みして、蛇窪神社・品川神社・荏原神社の三社にお参りしてきました！
まずは蛇窪神社へと向かいましたが、到着してみるとすごい行列！
まさに蛇のように境内をうねうねと曲がった列になって大勢人が並んでいました。
本殿にお参りするまでに、2時間とまではいかなかったものの、1時間半以上かかりました。
4月に上野東照宮にお参りしたときも長い行列でしたが、こちらのほうが並ぶ時間は長かったかも。
この日は猛暑日ではなくて、時折境内に爽やかな風が吹いていたのが幸いでした。
しっかりお参りさせていただいて、引いたかわいい蛇のおみくじは大吉！
暑い中並ぶのは大変でしたが、おかげさまで気持ちが高揚して清々しい感覚になりました。
今度はもうちょっと空いているときにお参りしてみたいです。
次にお参りしたのは、今回が2度目の品川神社。
昨年にしたお願いごとが叶ったので、お礼参りをしました。
品川神社でも御神水で銭洗いができます。
前回は、米ドル紙幣を2～30枚ぐらい扇形にバラっと広げて銭洗いをしている女性がいたりしてびっくりしたのですが、今回はほかに誰もいなくて、気兼ねなくお金を洗いました笑
長いあいだ並んで足が疲れていて、少し急な富士塚には登らずじまいだったので、
こちらは次回のお楽しみということにしました。
そして、荏原神社へもお礼参りに。
「お願いすれば、叶わない願いごとはない」と言われる神社ですが、評判に違わず、
お願いごとを叶えてもらえました笑
鎮守橋を渡っているときに、参拝するのは私だけかなと思ったら、お子さんを抱っこした女性が自転車を鳥居のそばに止めて、私の前にお参りされてました。
帰り道にふらっと立ち寄ってお参りできるなんて、うらやましかったです。

Shrines Visited: Hebikubo, Shinagawa, and Ebara!
On August 28th, a day of Tsuchinoto-mi (Day of the Snake), I took a break from stock trading to visit three shrines: Hebikubo Shrine, Shinagawa Shrine, and Ebara Shrine!
First, I headed to Hebikubo Shrine, but when I arrived, there was an incredible line! The crowd was huge, and the line snaked through the shrine grounds just like a snake. It took over an hour and a half to reach the main hall to pray, though not quite two hours. The line I saw at Ueno Toshogu Shrine in April was also long, but this one might have taken even longer. Luckily, it wasn't a scorching hot day, and a refreshing breeze occasionally blew through the shrine grounds. After offering a proper prayer, I drew a cute snake fortune slip, and it was a daikichi (excellent luck)! It was tough waiting in the heat, but it made me feel exhilarated and refreshed. Next time, I'd like to visit when it's a bit less crowded.
Next, I went to Shinagawa Shrine, which was my second visit. I went there to give thanks as a wish I had made last year had come true. You can also wash money with the sacred water at Shinagawa Shrine. On my last visit, I was surprised to see a woman fanning out about 20 or 30 US dollar bills to wash them. This time, however, there was no one else around, so I was able to wash my money without feeling self-conscious.😊 Since my legs were tired from waiting in a long line, I decided not to climb the somewhat steep Mt. Fuji mound and save that for my next visit.
Lastly, I also went to Ebara Shrine to give thanks. This shrine is said to grant any wish you make, and true to its reputation, my wish was granted.🥰 As I was crossing Chinju Bridge, I thought I would be the only one visiting, but a woman with a child in her arms stopped her bicycle near the torii gate and prayed before me. I was a little envious that she could just casually stop by on her way home to visit the shrine.
