ずっとお参りしたくてなかなか叶わなかった、長野県の戸隠神社にようやくお参りしてきました！
ふだんの街歩きとそんなに変わらない格好でしたが笑、ちゃんと五社参拝をして記念のしおりもいただきました。
山深くにある日本屈指のパワースポットといわれるだけあって、辺りは独特のご神気に包まれていました。
最初に向かったのは宝光社です。
こちらの階段は、、長いです。
階段を上りきって見下ろすと、足がすくみそうになりました。
「もう、宝光社だけで十分だよ～」とこぼしているご高齢の男性参拝者もいました笑
近頃クマに襲われる被害が毎日のように報じられていますが、こちらのほうでも出没したらしくて、チリーンチリーンと響いているのは何の音かなと最初思いましたが、クマ鈴の音でした。
そのあと、火之御子社→中社とお参りしてから、写真でよく見かける杉並木の奥社参道に向かいました。
鳥居から奥社の社殿まで約2㎞ほどあるそうですが、静かな森林の中を歩いていると、落ち着きつつも少しワクワクするような高揚した気分になって、不思議と疲れを感じませんでした。
そして、九頭龍社と奥社で「ようやくお参りが叶いました！」と感謝しながら手を合わせました。
満ち足りた気持ちでいっぱいで、険しい帰り道も無事に帰ってこれました。
ぜひ、お礼参りに戸隠神社をふたたび訪れたいと願っています✨

Visiting Togakushi Shrine
Visiting Togakushi Shrine in Nagano Prefecture, which I had long wanted to visit but hadn't been able to until now!
I was dressed pretty much the same as I would for a casual walk in the city😅, but I successfully visited all five shrines (Goshamaairi) and received a commemorative bookmark.
As one of Japan's leading "power spots" (places believed to give visitors spiritual energy) deep in the mountains, the area was enveloped in a unique spiritual force that felt both ancient and purifying.
The first shrine I headed to was Hoko-sha. The stairs here... are very long. Looking down after climbing to the top, my legs almost trembled. I even heard an elderly male visitor grumbling, "Hoko-sha alone is enough for me already!".😄
Lately, there have been daily reports of bear attacks, and it seems bears have also been spotted in this area. At first, I wondered what that "chime-chime" sound was, but it turned out to be bear bells.
After that, I visited Hino-miko-sha and then Chusha. Following this, I headed to the path leading to Okusha (the inner shrine), which is famous for its towering cedar avenue often seen in pictures.
It's said to be about 2 km from the torii gate to the main hall of Okusha. Walking through the quiet forest, I felt a calm yet slightly excited and uplifted mood, and strangely, I didn't feel tired at all.
Finally, at Kuzuryu-sha and Okusha, I clasped my hands together in thanks, thinking, "I finally made it!" I was filled with a sense of fulfillment, and I managed to safely return even on the challenging way back.
I truly hope to visit Togakushi Shrine again for Oreimairi (a visit to express thanks).✨
