きのうはトレードをお休みして、虎ノ門にある病院に定期健診に行ってきました。
途中で某企業の株主総会の案内板を持っている人を見かけて、そういえば株主総会シーズンなんだな〜と思い出しました。
いまのところはデイトレードばかりしているので、株主総会にはご縁が無いのですが、そのうちどこかの会社の株主になって総会に参加してみたい気持ちはあります笑
月曜日ににわかに台風2号が発生して、きょうは大雨だろうと思っていたので、定期健診だけ受けて他の予定は入れずに帰るつもりでいました。
でも、意外に傘を差さなくていいぐらいほとんど雨が降っていなくて、近くにある虎ノ門金刀比羅宮と愛宕神社にお参りしてきました。
実は私、神社にお参りするのが好きで、今年からは御朱印帳も持参しています！
トレードで利益を上げられるように、祈願しているのはもっぱら勝負運ですが。。笑
お昼時に虎ノ門金刀比羅宮にお参りしたのは初めてでしたが、キッチンカーが鳥居の内側に停まっていて、境内でランチを食べている人がたくさんいるのに驚きました。
前の職場に近い所にある神社なので、もしかしたら知っている人いたりして、、とヒヤヒヤしましたが運よく（？）笑、誰もいなかったようです。
愛宕神社には、雨で滑りやすくなってそうだったこともあって、出世の階段は上らずに、初めて愛宕山エレベーターに乗って境内まで登ってみました。
エレベーターはガラス張りで景色がよかったです！
本殿手前の門のところに茅の輪が設置されていて、くぐらせてもらってきました。
これで穢れが祓われて、清々しい気分で残り半年もがんばれるかな？
愛宕神社の池の鯉は、何度かごはんをあげているせいなのか、私が池に近づくと、すぐに口をパクパクしながらみんな寄ってきます笑
ちなみに、大宮の氷川神社にお参りしたとき、池のほとりに立っていたら、池に棲んでいる大きい亀やちっちゃい亀が7～8匹ぐらい、代わる代わる私のところまで泳いできて、首を水面の上に出して私を見上げていました。
（なぜか、5メートルほど離れた所で同じように池のそばに立っていた女性のところには、1匹も近寄っていませんでしたけど）
神社で動物と出会うのは歓迎のサインと言われますが、、そうだったらうれしいです笑
きのうお参りして知ったのですが、、愛宕神社の白猫のしずちゃんが先月30日に息を引き取ったそうです。何度か見かけて頭をなでてあげたりして、すごく癒されていたのにさみしいです。。
境内の一角に祭壇が設けられてお花が供えられていたので、手を合わせてきました。しずちゃん、23年も生きていたんですね。。
今度神社では、黒い豆芝をお迎えするんだとか。注射が済んだらお披露目されるそうで、またきっとお参りにきた人たちのアイドルになりますね！楽しみです😊

Thought I'd Be Rained On...
Yesterday, I took a break from trading and went for a regular check-up at a hospital in Toranomon. On the way, I saw a man holding a sign for a certain company's shareholders' meeting, which reminded me that it's the season for those. Since I'm currently only doing day trading, I haven't had any connection to shareholders' meetings, but I do hope to become a shareholder of some company and attend a meeting someday.😅
On Monday, Typhoon #2 suddenly formed, and I'd expected heavy rain today. So, I planned to just have my check-up and head straight home without making any other plans. However, to my surprise, it hardly rained—not enough to even need an umbrella! Because of that, I ended up visiting Toranomon Kotohiragu Shrine and Atago Shrine, which are both nearby.
Actually, I love visiting shrines, and this year I even started bringing my Goshuincho along! My main prayer, however, is mostly for good fortune in my endeavors, so I can make a profit from trading.😄
It was my first time visiting Toranomon Kotohiragu Shrine during lunchtime, and I was surprised to see food trucks parked inside the torii gate and so many people eating lunch on the grounds. Since it's a shrine close to my former workplace, I was a bit nervous, thinking I might run into someone I knew. Luckily (?), it seems there was no one I recognized.😄
At Atago Shrine, perhaps because the stairs seemed slippery from the rain, I didn't climb the "Stairs to Success" for the first time ever. Instead, I took the Atagoyama Elevator up to the shrine grounds. The elevator was made of glass, and the view was great! There was a Chinowa (a large ring made of cogongrass) set up at the gate just before the main hall, and I walked through it. I wonder if this has purified me, leaving me refreshed and ready to do my best for the rest of the year?
Perhaps because I've fed them a few times, the carp in Atago Shrine's pond all immediately gather around me, opening and closing their mouths when I approach the pond, lol. By the way, when I visited Hikawa Shrine in Omiya, I was standing by the pond when about seven or eight turtles, both large and small, swam up to me one after another, poking their heads out of the water to look up at me. (For some reason, not a single one approached a woman standing similarly by the pond about five meters away.) They say encountering animals at a shrine is a sign of welcome, and if that's true, I'd be very happy.🥰
I learned something while visiting the shrine... Atago Shrine's white cat, Shizu-chan, passed away on the 30th of last month. I'm so sad, as I'd seen her several times and felt so comforted stroking her head. A small altar with flowers was set up in one corner of the shrine grounds, so I put my hands together in prayer there. Shizu-chan lived for 23 years, can you believe it...?
Apparently, the shrine will be welcoming a black Mame Shiba dog next. They say it will be introduced once its vaccinations are complete, and I'm sure it'll become an idol for all the visitors again! I'm looking forward to it.
