田無神社にお参り

「そういえば、お礼参りとお守りのお返しに行かなきゃ～！」とふと思い立って、田無神社にお参りしてきました。

空いていたので、すべてのお社にゆっくり時間をかけてお祈りできました。

田無神社では、はじめてご朱印をいただいたのですが、とても立派な書体で書き入れていただいて、家に帰ってから何度も見返してホクホクしてしまいました笑

ご朱印は、直接書き入れてもらえるだけでなく、きれいなファイルに入った書き置きのご朱印もいただけるので、ご朱印帳を持っていない方にもおすすめです👍

以前、田無神社にお参りした帰りに、駅で「黒龍の前でのお参りの所作がよかった」と男性から不意に声をかけられてびっくりしたことがありました。
その方によると、私がバッグを持ったままでなく、地面に置いて手を合わせていたのが珍しくて（？）、丁寧な感じがしたそうです。
私は全然気づいていなかったですけど、お参りの所作とか案外見られてたりするものなんですね。
些細なことでもなるべく礼儀正しく振舞うように、あらためて心がけたいと思いました。

 A Visit to Tanashi Shrine

​I suddenly remembered, 'Oh, I need to go back to give thanks and return my old amulets!' So, I took a trip to Tanashi Shrine.

​Since it wasn't crowded, I was able to take my time at each of the mini-shrines to offer my prayers.

​It was my first time getting a Goshuin at Tanashi Shrine. The calligraphy was so magnificent that I found myself staring at it over and over again with a big smile on my face after I got home.😊

​At this shrine, they don't just write directly into your book; they also offer pre-written seals in beautiful folders, so I highly recommend it even to those who don't have a Goshuin-cho.👍

​Actually, I have a surprising story from a previous visit. When I was at the station on my way home, a man suddenly approached me on the platform and said, 'I was impressed by your manners when you were praying in front of the Black Dragon.'

​According to him, it's rare to see someone place their bag on the ground instead of just holding it while praying, and he said it looked very respectful.

I hadn't realized anyone was watching, but I guess people notice those little details more than you'd think. It made me want to keep being mindful and acting with good manners, even in the smallest ways.

​I hope to receive more blessings🐉 and that my wishes will come true in a wonderful way soon.🙏✨

衆院選でまた最高値更新！

衆議院選挙で自民党が圧勝したことで、日経平均株価は急騰！
先週はトレードをちょっとお休みしていたので、週末ポジションを持っていたらよかったな～と後悔しました笑
きのう、まだ雪が残っていて寒い中、投票に行ってきましたが、自民党が議席の単独過半数どころか、3分の2以上を獲得したのにはびっくりしました。
高市さんには、国民にチャンスと希望を与えてくれる政治を期待したいです。
そして、日経平均が順調に6万円を目指してくれたらいいですね笑

New Record High After the General Election!

The Nikkei Stock Average soared following the LDP's landslide victory in the House of Representatives election! I had taken a short break from trading last week, so I’m kicking myself a little for not holding any positions over the weekend.😅

​Yesterday, I went to cast my vote while it was still cold and snowy outside. I was truly shocked that the LDP didn't just win a simple majority, but secured more than two-thirds of the seats! I really hope Ms. Takaichi leads with politics that give people both opportunity and hope.✨🌈

​And of course, it would be amazing if the Nikkei keeps heading steadily toward 60,000 yen!

愛宕神社にお参り

週末に、都内の愛宕神社にお参りしてきました！

新年はじめての縁日だったせいか、神社に着いたのはお昼すぎだったのですが、社殿までものすごい行列でした😮
たしか昨年はこんなに並んでいなかったような。。？

本殿のほうは人が大勢並んでいて、手短にお祈りを済ませちゃいましたが、末社ではしっかりお願いごとをお祈りさせていただきました笑

前回はお目にかかれなかった豆芝ちゃん🐶、社務所の待合室でご祈祷を待っている参拝者の方になでなでされているところを見ました！
もうだいぶ大きくなってるようでしたが、成犬なのかな？
人慣れしてるみたいで、愛くるしくてかわいかったです～💗

このブログの記事を書くときに、たまたまネットを見ていたら、今年の丙午にお参りすべき神社に、愛宕神社も紹介されていたので、混んでいたのはそのせいだったのかも。

またあらためてお参りさせていただきます！
今度はもう少し空いているといいな～🌈✨

A Visit to Atago Shrine

​Over the weekend, I went to Atago Shrine in Tokyo!

​Since it was the first "Ennichi" (auspicious festival day) of the new year, the line to the main shrine was incredibly long, even though I arrived after noon.😮 I don’t remember it being this crowded last year...?

​The main hall was so packed that I had to keep my prayer brief, but I made sure to take my time and offer a proper prayer at the smaller sub-shrines instead.😊

​I also finally spotted the Mameshiba dog🐶 that I missed seeing last time! Through the glass walls of the shrine office, I saw it being happily petted by visitors waiting for their purification ceremonies in the waiting room. It looked quite big already—I wonder if it’s fully grown now? It seemed very used to people and was just absolutely adorable.💗

​While writing this blog post, I happened to see online that Atago Shrine was recommended as one of the shrines to visit during this year of the "Fire Horse" (Hinoe-uma). Maybe that’s why it was so busy!

​I definitely want to go back again soon. Hopefully, it’ll be a little less crowded next time!🌈✨

今週の日本株はどうなるかな？

先週、日経平均株価は高市トレードで史上最高値を更新してからは、下げてきていますね。
週明けのきょうも、引き続き下落しました。
長期金利が急上昇していることでマーケットには警戒感もあるみたいですし、地政学リスクなど、目先いろんな不安な要素があるので、ちょっと心配になります。
夜のうちに何かあって相場状況が一変していた。。😱ということもあり得るので、基本的にオーバーナイトはなしでトレードしています。

とくに年明け以降、米国株のチャートもリアルタイムで見ているので（うとうとしながら）、少し寝不足で疲れ気味です。
昼も夜もマーケットをチェックするのは、やっぱり体に堪えるかな。。
今朝も頭があまりスッキリしていない感じで、ひどくはないものの頭痛がしていました😣
きょうはキング牧師記念日でアメリカ市場はお休みなので、早めに寝ま～す！

​ What’s in store for Japanese stocks this week?

Last week, the Nikkei 225 hit a new all-time high fueled by the "Takaichi Trade," but it has been trending downward since then. That decline continued today as the new week began.

​With long-term interest rates surging, there seems to be a sense of caution in the market. Between that and geopolitical risks, there are so many uncertain factors right now that it’s making me a bit uneasy. Since the market situation could completely flip overnight due to some unexpected news😱, I’ve been sticking to a "no overnight positions" trading rule.

​I've been watching the US market charts in real-time—often while nodding off—especially since the start of the year, so I’m feeling pretty sleep-deprived and worn out. Checking the markets day and night is definitely taking a toll on my body. I woke up this morning feeling a bit foggy, with a lingering (though not severe) headache.😣

​Since today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the US markets are closed, I’m going to bed early tonight!

Market's closed, brain's tired. Time to catch up on some much-needed sleep. Sweet dreams! ✨

日経平均が最高値更新！

きょう、日経平均株価がはじめて53,000円台まで上昇して、過去最高値を更新しましたね。
きのう夜に日経平均先物をチェックしたら、週末の終値から2,000円ぐらい高くなっていたので、「え～っ！」と驚いてましたが、日中も上げ幅がすごかったです😮
理由は、高市首相が衆議院の解散総選挙を行うことを検討していると伝わったからでした。
知り合いの人にきのう、高市首相が年始に伊勢神宮を参拝したときのYouTubeの動画を見せてもらって、「さすが、高市さん～！」みたいな話をしたんですけど、やっぱり高市さんは特別なパワーをお持ちなのかも😊
株価はきょう大幅上昇したので、明日はどうなるかわかりませんが、高市さん効果のすごさをあらためて実感しました。
もし選挙が行われたら、結果次第では株価も一段高（！）になることを期待したいですね✨✨

​ Nikkei Average Hits a Record High!

 

​Today, the Nikkei Stock Average climbed to the 53,000 yen level for the first time, marking a new record high.

​When I checked the Nikkei futures last night, they were already up about 2,000 yen from last weekend's close. I was like, "What?! No way!" and was so surprised, but the upward momentum during the daytime was also incredible.😮

​The reason behind this was the news that Prime Minister Takaichi is considering dissolving the House of Representatives for a general election.

​Just yesterday, a friend showed me a YouTube video of Prime Minister Takaichi visiting Ise Grand Shrine at the beginning of the year. We were just talking about how impressive she is, and it makes me think she might really have some kind of special power.😊

​The stock market surged today, so I'm not sure what will happen tomorrow, but I truly felt the "Takaichi effect" once again. If an election is held, I hope the stock prices will climb even higher depending on the results!✨✨

あけましておめでとうございます！

今年もまた、元日に国立競技場にサッカー⚽（皇后杯🏆）を観に行ってきました！
（国立競技場は年明けからMUFGスタジアムという呼称になりましたね）

お昼ぐらいだったので、それほど寒くもなく、試合を楽しめました。
試合の終盤は白熱する展開になってきて、応援にも力が入りました！
男子サッカーに比べると、あまり観る機会が少ないですが、女子サッカーもかっこいいですよね。

私自身の話ですけれど、、

小学生の頃ですが、サッカーが好きで「私もサッカーやりたいな～」と思って、練習ではじめてヘディングでボールを受けてみました。
すると、頭の中で火花が散ったみたいになって、（軟弱な私は）すぐに「私には無理。。」とあきらめてしまい、それ以降は観るだけで、自分でサッカーをプレーすることはありませんでした。

大学生になって、男女混成でサッカーをする機会があって、私はFWで、それこそメッシやマラドーナみたいにドリブルで何度も4～5（？）人抜きをして、ゴールを決めてました。
ゴールを決める瞬間って、本当にめちゃくちゃ気持ちいいですよね！✨😄
でも、なぜか簡単に続けてゴールを決められるので、途中で「あれ？」と思ったら、どうやら誰も私を止めに来ないことに気づきました。
聞いてみたら、「すごくうれしそうにシュートしてるし、怪我させたら悪いから」って眺めてたらしいです笑
それはそれで、「なんだ、実力じゃなかったんだな～」とちょっとがっかりして微妙な感覚になりましたが、ボールを蹴っている私はよっぽどうれしそうにしていたんですね。
優しく見守ってくれた同級生のみんなに感謝です笑

女子サッカーを観ていて、ついそんなことを思い出しました。

いよいよこの夏に開催されるワールドカップが待ち遠しいです！✨✨

 Happy New Year!

​I went to the National Stadium again this year on New Year's Day to watch the Empress's Cup final!⚽🏆

(By the way, the stadium was renamed MUFG Stadium starting this year, wasn't it?)

​Since it was around midday, it wasn't too cold, and I really enjoyed the game. The match got intense toward the end, and I found myself cheering with all my heart! I don't get as many chances to watch the women's game compared to the men's, but it’s just so cool to watch.

​Watching them actually brought back some personal memories...

​When I was in elementary school, I loved the sport so much that I thought, "I want to play, too!" But the very first time I tried a header in practice, it felt like fireworks exploded in my head. Being a bit of a softie, I immediately gave up, thinking, "This is impossible for me..." Since then, I’ve stuck to just watching and haven't played myself.

​However, back in my university days, I had a chance to play in a co-ed match. I played as a forward and—just like Messi or Maradona—I kept dribbling past four or five defenders to score! Scoring a goal is such an incredible feeling, isn't it?✨😄

​But I was scoring so easily that I eventually started to wonder what was going on. It turns out, nobody was actually trying to stop me. When I asked why, they told me, "You looked so happy while shooting, and we didn't want to accidentally hurt you, so we just watched!"😊

​I felt a little disappointed finding out it wasn't actually my "skill," but I guess I must have looked genuinely happy while kicking the ball. I’m really grateful to my classmates for watching over me so kindly!😊

​Watching the women's match today reminded me of those fun times.

I can’t wait for the World Cup this summer!✨✨

2025年大納会

きょうは、日本の株式市場での年内最後の取引日で、大納会が行われましたね。
いままでニュース番組で一部しか見たことがなかったのですが、はじめてネットの生中継で最初から最後まで見ました笑
特別ゲストは高市早苗首相と、サッカー日本代表の森保一監督。
今年は高市首相のおかげで、市場は「高市トレード」で盛り上がりましたし、2026年のサッカーワールドカップでは、きっと日本代表が大活躍するはず（！）なので、おふたりがどんなことをお話しされるのか、すごく注目していました。
高市首相のスピーチは、流行語大賞に選ばれた「働いて・働いて・働いて・働いて、働いてまいります！」をもじった「日本のために最後まで諦めず、走って・走って・走って・走って、走り抜いて勝利を勝ち取ります！」のところで、クスっと笑ってしまいました笑
森保監督は、少し緊張されているようでしたが、いつもの試合後のインタビューのような感じの熱い内容のメッセージでした。
「森保監督が一番投資したものは何でしょうか？」のクイズ、答えの投票を募集しているのを知っていたら、私も答え選んでたのにな～笑
大納会を見ることで、今年のトレードのいい締めくくりになりました。
今年トレードを実践しながら、試行錯誤したり勉強したりしたことが、どうか来年良い成果に結びつきますように✨😊

The 2025 Year-End Closing Ceremony (Dainohkai)

​Today was the last trading day of the year on the Japanese stock market, and the year-end closing ceremony, "Dainohkai," was held. I used to only see snippets of it on the news, but for the first time, I watched the whole thing from start to finish via a live stream!😄

​The special guests were Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and Hajime Moriyasu, the head coach of the Japan national football team. This year, the market was really buzzing with the "Takaichi Trade" thanks to the Prime Minister. Also, since I'm sure the Japanese team will do great things in the 2026 World Cup🏆, I was really focused on what the two of them would say.

​I had a little chuckle during PM Takaichi’s speech. She did a play on her "Work, work, work, work, and work!" catchphrase—which won the Buzzword of the Year—and said, "I will run, run, run, run, and run to the end without giving up to secure victory for Japan!" It was quite funny.😊 Coach Moriyasu seemed a bit nervous, but his message was as passionate as his usual post-match interviews. I wish I had known they were taking votes for the quiz, "What has Coach Moriyasu invested in the most?"—I would have definitely joined in!😄

​Watching the ceremony was a great way to wrap up this year’s trading. I really hope that all the trial and error and the studying I did while trading this year will lead to great results next year!✨😊
